Happy 1st Birthday!

Life on University Blvd: you’re 1 year old!
On a very fateful January 2nd in 2010, my 2010 new years resolution was completed: I started my blog and it’s been awesome ever since. Sure, a lot of things have changed such as the name (added a period to the end of “Blvd” because it’s an abbreviation and I want my blog to be most grammatically correct as possible), but that’s how life goes, university, the boulevard that shares the same name for higher education institutions, and many other things in the past year.
I started a YouTube blog series than ended on the 2nd post. I started the UBC 101 series that I intend to keep on going in the near future. I have continued with my Happiness of the Day. I changed the blog theme once. I added the collage to the right. I celebrated my 10,000th blog view. I was surprised that 2 blog posts that were private got more than 100 views (very curious, blog readers). I have continued to make interesting titles whenever possible. And I’ve, hopefully, created something that some random people in the world have read and found interesting.
I am so proud of you, blog. You’ve made me compulsively check your site stats every day to see how many blog views I’ve had. You’ve allowed me to express myself in writing that I have missed a lot. It is through you that I have gotten a few awesome volunteer jobs. You get more than you give, and I’ve given a lot and you’ve given more to me than I could have imagined.
I can’t wait for your 2nd birthday, your 3rd, your 19th, and etc. You’ll keep on being awesome and you will be legen-wait for it, and I hope you’re not lactose intolerant because the second part of that word is-dary.

Currently: studying for midterms. AKA: giving my life to school and being socially isolating.
What this blog tells you:
- I look at my blog stats.
- Some people find my blog interesting.
- I’m taking a break from studying, better known as procrastinating.
Freedom is Friday.
